Aer Theme: Beautiful single-column WordPress Theme
Aer - the new WordPress Theme by TheBuckmaker.com. It is based on the popular Aeros Theme but reduced to one column. The slim design makes this and ideal theme for simple and beautiful personal blogs.
Custom Header Links: As seen in preview, there are links at the bottom of the header, marked as “Custom Links: Link1-4″. The single column design should not suffer from less navigation options for your readers, so this is the place for your custom links, like favorite categories, tags or links to other sites. To change these links, open “header.php” and follow the instructions there as well as in the README-file. Change, adapt or position your custom background image as always.
The sidebar is placed below the content and can be adapted by using widgets. It is transparent and shiny because it should not disturb or contrast with your content.
More changes compared to Aeros: Header links are now positioned left. The font size has been reduced to 12px. The post container is no more transparent to ensure compatibility with different browsers and plugins. The page navigation on top of the header shows parent pages only - ensure to move child pages to top level if you want them to show up.

oh does anyone know how to change the header so I can use a logo instead of having the black background?

I’m trying to modify your theme to get a 700px width instead of 580px but the date is not correctly shown.

Where did I wrong ? (It’s a great theme, I like very much the concept).
I did find how to correct this. Sorry for this dumb comment.
