Earlier we took a look at how building internal links (links between pages on your site or blog) can help you to increase the profitability of your site by doubling or tripling ad views on your site both legally and ethically. Now we are going to look at how linking off of your site can do the same. This is accomplished with a little bit of help from a passive income site. This option is often overlooked, but can help to provide a secondary source of income and even back links.
Step 1: Sign up on a site that offers passive income to people who write on their sites like Ehow or any other similar site. Just be sure to evaluate the site to be sure that you will get a fair amount of money per passive view. You can usually find reviews of these sites through your search engine.
Step 2: Create and post content relevant to your site on that page. When and where possible link to your site in these postings. If they have a link section or an about you/ biography section near the bottom then consider putting the link in all pieces that you write.
Step 3: When relevant link to the articles you have posted from your site.
Step 4: Get the URL of your account on the passive income site, and if you so choose create a button you can place on the site that links to your homepage.
This system works in 2 ways:
By harnessing the passive income generated by visitors who are leaving your site to the article you have written.
By bringing readers from the passive income site to your site and increasing your PPI (pay per impression) ad revenue.
Not to mention that this strategy creates reciprocal links which many search engines use as a factor in ranking sites.
