I Love Paid Blogging!

I just signed up for another paid blogging gig. I have been associated with many but am only active with one. I don't have time for nonsense so I dig in right away and get the scoop on each potential income stream, then either hang my hat and get cozy or move on. The deciding factor for me is always whether or not I get paid in MONEY. Today, at this point, I am not interested in accumulating points or shared revenue. I want to write and then I want to get paid for it. If we have that in common, read on to learn about my favorite way to get paid for blogging.

Paid blogging involves accepting an assignment to carry out a particular task on your blog. You might be asked to review a product or a video, include a link, mention a phrase, keyword, or any combination of the above or something similar.

Some popular paid to post sites include PAY TO POST, SMORTY, SOCIAL SPARK, SHARED REVIEWS, & REVIEW ME.

SHARED REVIEWS: was my first paid post job. It was a really cool set up and great community that was lucrative during the BETA period but then went to a different payment model that was too fancy for me based on my page views, my comment activity, and "reputation" within the community. No thanks. I work, you pay. Those are the rules. So I wandered away from there quite a while back but I have heard about some changes and different opportunities so if you enjoy reviewing products I would recommend checking it out. It's on my list to revisit soon.

PAY TO POST, SMORTY, SOCIAL SPARK: I was really excited about these guys. Once you are signed up you browse the available reviews, claim what you want, write, then get paid. Sounds like my kind of thing! Well, I'm not very "techie" to say the least, and I had trouble working with PTP and SMORTY. SOCIAL SPARK was more user friendly in my opinion, but I never seemed to sign on at the right time to get the assignments I wanted. They were always full by the time I applied. The guidelines for each of these could be considered strict so if you are a new blog and don't have much traffic they may not approve you. I completed only a couple of assignments and they did pay promptly, but in the end, there was a conflict between these companies and my very favorite, PayU2Blog.

PayU2Blog is AWESOME! I have made hundreds of dollars with them in a short time. In this freelance business of securing as many small income streams as possible, that it is high dollar! Each post requirement is only 60 words and all you do is include the assigned link and keyword. It is pie! The challenge, which I enjoy, is creating a post that fits into your blog topic, regardless of the assignment topic. Each assignment takes me about 15 minutes to write, link and submit and pays $5. I rarely EVER do a direct review because the products are things I have no experience with. So I put the link under the keyword and simply work the keyword into a sentence which may or may not be related to the product being sold. Every once in a while I get something special that requires watching a video or describing the product in more detail. Those posts might take 30 minutes but they pay $7 - $12. PayU2Blog only recruits at certain times but I definitely recommend checking it out now and returning periodically. I got hired on my second attempt.

The one I signed up for today is called BLOGSERTIZE and was recommended by a fellow blogger so I am waiting for my blog approval so I can check it out. I'll let you know how it goes! In the meantime, good luck to you!
