I've started displaying the following image to all users of the Zombie-Browser IE6 (Internet Explorer 6) instead of working around all the problems, bugs and issues the old MS Internet flagship causes:

IE6 has caused millions of sleepless nights around the globe. So I'm not the only webdesigner who wants IE6 to be banned from the net for all time. It's got no sence of beauty or style and has become a zombie indeed: dead, but still alive. Unfortunately, quite a percentage of users still are surfing on IE6. The reasons: They don't want resp. are not able to upgrade to IE7 (esp. companies who run their IT from a central point still use IE6) or can't move to open source platforms, still are on XP and have deactivated auto upgrades, ...
Of course I'm taking care of the free and premium themes to be displayed in IE6 too, but they never will be as nice as in IE7, Firefox & Co.

Very good news for you Joe - IE8 has been released. I'm sure IE6 will fade away soon...
Jippie!
Hey Joe,
Like everyone else, I love your Aeros theme and use it on my wife's website that does vacation rentals in Kona. I recently upgraded to your premium 2.2 addition and now see that the formatting is incorrect for IE6. I know, I know this is a bad browser, but I work for Kaiser Permanente and it's on my laptop they gave me. I also know that lots of people don't upgrade their software as regularly as I do. It's enough of an issue for me that I may switch to an alternate theme. Any help??
Thanks for all of your great work!

A follow up to my above comment. By deleting all of the references to IE6 in the Aeros Stylelesheet, all of the problems went away.....
