Yes! Aeros featured at the WordPress Theme Directory
Today a dream came true: The popular Aeros Theme is featured on “Pole Position” in the WordPress Theme Directory. This almost instantly caused a boost in download statistics and rose the theme from #7 to #5 within hours - as the featured themes are really eye-catching, they seem to attract the biggest number of WordPress users.
As I’ve written before, Aeros showed its power by making its way to the first page of the “most popular themes” without being featured - download figures were at about 300 downloads per day right from the beginning.
Please help making Aeros one of the most popular WordPress Themes by telling me all your wishes and issues you may find - like many of you did in the last weeks. I’ll do my best to further improve functions, useability and design.
UPDATE September, 26: Aeros has reached #1 and is the most popular WordPress Theme these days!

Great theme! Mind if I port it to BlogEngine? Foot would remain in tact, but I would add my name to it. Is that fair?

If I can link to or write about it somehow, just let me know

I ran into an architecture snag with the way I’m doing the post date and comment count tabs on the side of the posts.
I love this theme, and when I finally work out my issues and get er done, I’ll let you know and we can cross promote. Of course, you’ll be the biggest beneficiary of it. Seems the template is going quite well on WordPress. Great job!

Hello, I am the Webmaster of Arbune, currently trying to enter the internet market with a prizes-based forum. But this is not whi I am contacting you. I saw your theme featured on WordPress and fell in love with it and took that as a challenge to create my own aeros-look alike theme from scratch. I downloaded your zip-files for more information related to the “facade” of your “not found” pages. Anyways, I developed a theme that looks like aeros and has 3 columns (2 right sidebars) and an integrated bookmarkig widget. I placed the link of buckmaker.com on the copy right section like this: “Powered by WordPress || Inspired by TheBuckmaker.com || Copyright 2008 Arbune Team”. I am currently pending an approval from wordpress themes and I wanted to know if you are ok about this. Practically, the users of my site will potentially become visitors of your site because of that link and the theme is not copy-pasted from the first place so… I hope you are ok with this as the author of the aeros display. Contact me a.s.a.p.
@Arbune: thanks for developing your own theme based on Aeros. Of course that’s ok as long as my design is credited with a backlink in the footer. Thanks again and good luck!

I noted in an above comment regarding corners and IE. My question is regarding the “non widget” search box. On IE the button doesn’t appear (only the red x place holder) and actually on Firefox 3 there in no button (or place holder) at all. If I hover the mouse over where it should be it does change and allow me to activate the search function.
So my question is how do I fix that, or how do I remove the search box all together and just use the widget which works fine. BTW, great theme!
Ivan
@Ivan: pls download again - this was fixed
Thanks for publishing these theme. I am using it in my blog.

Cheers.
